Access to venture capital and the right skills are a necessity to scale innovative start-ups. However, many start-ups in the bioeconomy sector find that raising the necessary capital can be a challenge.
As part of the programme, companies are offered coaching and mentoring sessions, participation in workshops, networking and access to investors, among other things - and the help is free of charge.
Through online courses, internal MPowerBIO growth experts will offer entrepreneurs customized trainings on topics such as, market validation, crowdfunding, sales and marketing channels, EU funding opportunities and how to deliver a compelling investor pitch. Common to all courses is that they are designed specifically to support promising entrepreneurs in the bioeconomy sector.
The bioresource companies with the best projects will have the opportunity to present their business ideas to a panel of investors, experts from major organisations and investment funds in a European forum with the aim of attracting capital to grow and develop their business.
