The purposes and legal basis for processing your personal data
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
The legal basis for our processing of your personal data follows from:
By registering for an event, you consent to your data being stored in Food & Bio Cluster Denmark’s customer register. The data is used exclusively in connection with the activities that Food & Bio Cluster Denmark performs for you as participant. If the event is arranged together with other organizations, your participant data will be shared to insure any project terms.
In addition, you accept that Food & Bio Cluster Denmark may contact you regarding other relevant, professional events and opportunities.
In connection with the holding of the relevant event, you give your consent that you may appear in some images that Food & Bio Cluster Denmark will use in connection with marketing of Food & Bio Cluster Denmark, both on our website, in our newsletters and on social media.
We process the following categories of personal data about you:
We have received personal data from you. If we do not receive your personal data, you will not be able to participate in the event.
We store your data in Podio. CITRIX, which owns Podio, has prepared an end user service agreement, which relates to the GDPR. In addition, we have a data processor agreement with Citrix.
We also store data (email and name) in Mailchimp, with whom we have a data processor agreement for sending emails.
As we receive public funding in connection with our events, we are obliged to be able to document and forward this information to our donors and the other partners in the project in question.
We store your data for as long as we are obliged to do so in connection with the performance of our authorised activities, so that we can document our information. After that it will be anonymised or deleted.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have a number of rights in relation to our processing of information about you.
If you want to exercise your rights, please contact us.
You have the right of access to the data we process about you, and certain additional information.
You have the right to have incorrect data about yourself corrected.
In certain cases, you have the right to have data about you erased before it would normally be erased.
In certain cases, you have the right to have the processing of your personal data restricted. If you have the right to have the processing restricted, we may only process your data in future – except for storage – with your consent, or for the purpose of establishing, enforcing or defending legal claims, or to protect a person or important public interests.
In certain cases, you have the right to object to our otherwise lawful processing of your personal data.
You can read more about your rights in the Danish Data Protection Agency’s guide on the rights of registered data subjects, which you can find on the Danish Data Protection Agency’s website.
